What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is an eight-stage guided meditation that has the power to transform, heal and rejuvenate you at core levels. You are systematically guided on a meditative journey through your multi-dimensional self. This includes awareness and healing at each level of being (the five koshas (or layers): physical, energetic, mental-emotional, and bliss-healing level) in order to dissolve away tensions to reveal your true self.
What does it do?
This practice has been successfully proven to reduce anxiety, high blood pressure, depression PTSD and insomnia. Yoga Nidra switches the body out of "fight or flight syndrome" and into the "relaxation response" - your body's natural healing state. It is in this state that we are most receptive and open to complete relaxation and peace. Yoga Nidra has the power to transform you at core levels and is one of the deepest forms of meditation.
In these workshops you will enjoy restorative yoga postures, and Reiki, and then I will guide you into Yoga Nidra. This meditative practice requires nothing of you but to lie down and listen. No experience necessary!

This workshop will begin with gentle restorative postures and Reiki. You will then be guided into a deep meditative state while resting in an extended, supported savasana.
Yoga Nidra is one of the deepest forms of all meditations. It suspends us in the space between awake and asleep. It is in this state that we are most receptive and open to complete relaxation. Yoga Nidra has been used to successfully aid insomnia, anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic pain and many other issues. This inspired, meditative practice is accessible to all levels.
Wear comfortable clothing, bring a pillow, blanket (or towel) and block. No meditation experience necessary.
