Yoga has truly transformed me into the person I am today. I worked for more than twenty years in the legal field - unaware of the toll that so many years of stress had taken on my physical and emotional body. The first time I stepped onto my mat I instantly felt the transformation that this practice revealed was a gift - one that we are all born with – but somehow gets lost in the process of daily life. I yearned to experience the peace and deeper meaning of yoga. I gained back my true self and found the serenity I was longing for. I slowly transitioned from working in the corporate world into teaching yoga full-time, owning and running my own yoga studio, creating and directing my own Yoga Teacher Training and becoming a Reiki Master/Teacher. Life has truly come full circle. I now offer Yoga and Meditation to many corporate settings and am enthusiastic to offer these practices to so many students who may not have otherwise had access to these ancient tools. I am forever grateful to all my teachers who inspired and encouraged me to follow my path and share this gift with my students.
Two of my greatest gifts have been to watch my son receive his 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification and attend his Swearing In Ceremony as an Attorney. He taught yoga as he attended Boston College and BC Law. He graduated Suma Cum Laude from both. As an Attorney in Boston, he continues to teach yoga.
In 2009, I received my RYT 200 Hour Certification through Open Doors Power Yoga. In 2018, I received my 500 Hour Advanced Yoga Certification. Along with Certifications in Power Yoga, Yin Yoga, Spa Yoga, Bodhi & Mind Yoga (yoga for students dealing with cancer) and Children's Yoga , I also hold Certifications in one of the deepest forms of Meditation - Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra. I am a Reiki Master Teacher and offer energy healing treatments as well as Reiki I and II Certifications. Also Owner and Lead Teacher of Jennifer Cataldo Yoga 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. My classes include a combination of breath-work and slow mindful movement, including seated, standing, supine and prone postures.
My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to reconnect with their mind/body/spirit each time they come to their mat. One breath at a time. I truly believe Yoga Is For Every Body.
